A Foundation Rooted in Excellence 

Dr. Rodriguez started her career studying biomedical engineering, graduating at the top of her class, a milestone she describes as especially meaningful in a male dominated field and one that strengthened her resilience, curiosity, and commitment to breaking barriers. That early foundation in science and technology stayed with her, eventually drawing her toward medicine, where she could combine cutting edge innovation with the deeply human work of patient care. 

That path led her to the University of Miami, where she trained from medical school through residency and was honored to be selected as the inaugural fellow in the university's Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) fellowship program. Having grown throughout every stage of her training at the same institution gave her something rare: true continuity, and a lasting understanding of the community she now serves. 

Care Built Around Listening 

Ask Dr. Rodriguez what excites her most about her work, and she doesn't point to a procedure or a technology. She points to the first visit. It's the moment she gets to meet a new patient, hear their story, and begin building a treatment plan that's truly their own. 

"My goal is for patients to feel confident and even a little excited to start care with me," she says. "From that moment on, every recommendation will be made specific to their goals and needs, and I will be a steady partner throughout the journey." 

That philosophy shows up in everything she does. Dr. Rodriguez's clinical focus spans fertility preservation, IVF, IUI, PCOS and ovulatory disorders, and LGBTQ family building, but her approach to each is the same: listen first, explain clearly, and walk alongside her patients through every decision. Patients consistently describe her as calm, practical, and steady, someone who makes complex decisions feel manageable. 

As a native Spanish speaker with deep roots in Miami, Dr. Rodriguez also brings a cultural fluency that allows her to connect authentically with international patients and patients who speak Spanish, translating medical options into clear, accessible steps for families from all backgrounds.

It's no surprise that her favorite past job, before medicine, was as a math tutor, where she loved breaking down complex ideas into intuitive, tangible steps and celebrating every "aha" moment along the way. That same gift for making the complicated feel clear is something patients can expect from her in the exam room today.
